Luke Bryan and Jake Owen Engage in Impromptu Duet of ‘Country Girl’

Luke Bryan's 'Country Girl (Shake It For Me)' is such a hit that even fellow country star Jake Owen has downloaded the song and knows all the lyrics! WYCD had Owen interview Bryan, pre-ACMs, and the duo engaged in an impromptu duet of Bryan's hit single. Midway through the interview, Bryan started singing the song and Owen joined in on the "Shake it for me / Shake it for the catfish swimming down deep in the creek" part.

Owen proclaimed "I love it" after a thoroughly impressed Bryan thanked Owen for knowing the song. "I appreciate you knowing it," Bryan said with a smile, to which Owen replied, "I downloaded it. I got that thing!"

Owen and Bryan didn't just spontaneously erupt into song. The pair also discussed Bryan's upcoming stint on Tim McGraw's Emotional Traffic Tour. Pre-tour, Bryan and McGraw sat down for a dinner and hung out, which was a big deal for Bryan, who said he has always looked up to McGraw. "It's weird sitting there, checking my texts and I'm like, 'Caroline's putting the boys to bed' and he is like 'Faith says 'Hey!'"
