Forget about making their day, Luke Bryan might just be making fans’ lives this week. He launched a promo alongside Target for his new record, Kill the Lights, called #LukeBox, which allows fans to put out a request via Twitter for Bryan to write a song especially for — and about — them.

The store will be releasing an exclusive deluxe version of Kill the Lights Aug. 7 with three additional new songs. Bryan released a video via Twitter Wednesday (Aug. 5) explaining the campaign.

“For the first time ever I’ll be writing and performing songs about you,” Bryan says, pointing at the camera. “This is your chance for me to write a song about anything you want — your kids, your spouse, where you grew up — anything you want. Well, within reason, obviously."

The requests are already pouring in with the hashtag #LukeBox, and one particularly notable fan by the name of Willie Robertson, who is apparently anticipating a beat-down on the archery range in the near future, made sure to get his in early.

Several others have been written and posted on Bryan’s Twitter page since the announcement, including a tribute to girls who like football, a unique love song for future newlyweds, and a special 16th birthday wish. Bryan is at the ready to crank out some more original tunes at the drop of a hat.

The exclusive Target version of Kill the Lights will include three extra tracks: “Corner Booth,” “Little Boys Grow Up and Dogs Get Old,” and “Buddies."

Bryan is currently on his Kick the Dust Up tour with Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, Thomas Rhett and Randy Houser. He’s been gradually releasing tracks from the highly-anticipated Kill the Lights via instant download to pre-orders, leading up to its release this Friday (Aug. 7).
