Sometimes, the simplest words pack the most punch -- a truth demonstrated by Martina McBride's aptly-titled smash single, 'I Love You,' which lands at No. 87 on our Top 100 Country Love Songs countdown.

The perky, upbeat track was first featured on the 'Runaway Bride' soundtrack, and later appeared on McBride's 1999 platinum-selling album, 'Emotion.' The song continues to be the big-voiced singer's strongest chart showing to date, spending a total of four weeks at No. 1. 'I Love You' was later re-issued as part of McBride's 2000 'Greatest Hits' package, which has sold more than three million copies in the United States alone.
