Morgan Wallen Scores First-Ever No. 1 On the Pop Airplay Chart
Morgan Wallen's latest chart milestone puts him in elite company. He's now accomplished a feat only managed before once, by Taylor Swift.
Wallen's Post Malone duet "I Had Some Help" reigns on top of the Billboard Pop Airplay charts this week, on the chart dated July 26. It's the first time ever that Wallen has been at No. 1 on that chart, according to a report from Billboard.
The song's latest chart win comes after "I Had Some Help" topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart last month, making Wallen and Malone's duet one of only two songs who've held the No. 1 spot on both charts. The other is Swift's "Love Story," which had a two-week streak on the Country Airplay chart in November 2008 and subsequently hit topped Pop Airplay in February 2009.
The Billboard Country Airplay chart and Pop Airplay chart launched in 1990 and 1992, respectively, meaning that "Love Story" and "I Had Some Help" are two of the biggest crossover hits to come out of the last three decades.
"I Had Some Help" is on the track list of Malone's highly-anticipated country album, F-1 Trillion, which is due out on Aug. 16.
What Other Stars Will Appear on Post Malone's Country Album?
Ahead of release day, Malone has dropped several instant grat tracks, including collaborations with Blake Shelton and Luke Combs.
Earlier this week, a Target pre-order page for the album reportedly leaked the full track list, revealing an enormous roster of collaborators. Among them are Dolly Parton, Lainey Wilson, Hardy, Brad Paisley, Jelly Roll, Tim McGraw, Chris Stapleton, Hank Williams Jr. and more.

This week also marked another first for the Billboard Country and Pop Airplay charts, in that the two charts shared multiple simultaneous Top 5 hits for the first time. One of those was "I Had Some Help"; the other was Shaboozey's "A Bar Song (Tipsy)."
