
Ryan Bingham and T. Bone Burnett Win 2011 Grammy Award for ‘Crazy Heart’
Ryan Bingham and his friend T. Bone Burnett have won the Grammy award in the Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media category for the song 'The Weary Kind' from the Oscar-winning film 'Crazy Heart.'
Burnett and co-producer Stephen Bruton also won the 'Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media' Grammy for the 'Crazy Heart' aoundtrack. Last year, 'The Weary Kind' won the Academy Award for 'Best Original Song,' as well as a Golden Globe in the same category.
Bingham's third solo album, 'Junky Star,' was released last year, and he is currently on tour with his band, the Dead Horses. You can find out when they're coming to your town by visiting his official website.
