Georgia natives Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip — otherwise known as the Peach Pickers — got together with several other artists May 10, 2016 for the third annual Georgia On My Mind concert benefitting the Georgia Music Foundation at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and raised more than $100,000 for the charity.

Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins and a seemingly endless line of friends helped celebrate Georgia music at the Ryman Auditorium on Tuesday night (May 12). The second-annual Georgia on My Mind concert raised money for the Georgia Music Foundation, while giving fans a chance to see a uniquely star-studded cast sing and horse around.

Dallas Davidson says he can tell when a song he's listening to has been written by, or is being performed by a Georgian. “I can tell by the way they talk, the wording and the phrasing," he says. Of course, these days Georgia is a pretty fair guess — the Peach State has become the new Texas in country music — but he promises he's not bluffing.
