Trick Pony just want their name back. The duo are disputing a former manager's claim over the trademark, and the case has made its way through several courts.

Words for Warriors is set to take place on Wednesday, April 11 at Pinson's new Nashville restaurant, Lucy's Country Cafe, which he and his wife (Lucy) opened in early February.

Heidi Newfield and hit songwriter Bridgette Tatum (Jason Aldean's 'She's Country') are taking their girl power and hitting the road this fall. Throughout November, the two powerhouse singers will embark on their multi-city trek that kicks off in Little Rock, Ark. on Nov. 2. Thirteen dates have been announce thus far, including stops in Texas, Tennessee and Florida.

Heidi Newfield has announced in a tender blog to her fans through her official website that she has filed for divorce from her sports agent husband of seven years, Bill Johnson. Newfield and Johnson first met at a corporate fundraiser, and were married on June 4, 2006.

In 2006, Heidi Newfield made the bittersweet announcement that after 10 years of fronting one of country music's first trios, Trick Pony, she would be stepping down to pursue a solo career.
