The Band Perry and Eric Church are documenting their trip to the ACM Awards with a new online series, 'Road to the ACM Awards.' The series -- a fun, behind-the-scenes look at the days leading up to the big show -- is showing at CBS right now and features the New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, the Band Perry, and the New Solo Vocalist of the Year, Church.

In the series, the Band Perry let us watch as they film the video for their hit 'You Lie.' They say, "As we’ve been paving our road to the ACM Awards over the past year, our family has grown to include everyone who has helped us create, share and enjoy country music. Thanks for walking this road with us!"

The trio also shows their reaction to their four ACM nominations, and they have a secret to reveal. Kimberly Perry has a special on-set request when she shoots a video: They must have M&M's candies for her.

Church's video diary includes a promo he made especially for his fans called 'Happy Ending.' It's fun to take a peek at the goofy side of the country star -- and to see the gift he has for making people laugh. Video producers dubbed him "a brilliant turner and winker." You have to watch the 'Happy Ending' video for that to make sense.

"Eric and the Band Perry are the perfect acts to feature in such an intimate way," Lisa Lee, SVP of Creative and Media Production for the ACMs says. "Each has personality to spare, and they have an amazing connection to their very loyal fan bases. I am certainly interested in seeing where they take us in these webisodes on their way to Vegas."

Church thanking the ACMs for giving him this opportunity, says, "While I always think it’s dangerous for anyone to follow me around with a camera, I look forward to showing the fans what it’s like preparing for the ACMs."

Watch the video clips here, and be sure to catch the 46th annual Academy of Country Music Awards live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3 at 8PM ET on CBS.
