The Showdown: Jason Michael Carroll vs. the Cadillac Three

Jason Michael Carroll's plea for mercy has been (sort of) answered. The girl in his new single "God Only Knows" doesn't seem to be coming back, but his fans are making sure the song finds as many fans as possible. The track from What Color Is Your Sky? won a third straight Showdown over the weekend, setting up a matchup with a group with more hair than he has.

The Cadillac Three are becoming everyone's favorite country rockers. Jaren Johnston and company are skilled songwriters, and it shows in this new "ballad" from the Nashville-bred trio. "White Lightning" is as soft and tender as you'll see the group get. It's a love song that men who don't like to show too much emotion can get behind.
