Happy Birthday, Ada James! Thomas Rhett’s Daughter Turns One Year Old
Thomas Rhett has an arsenal of fans—for his music, of course, but also for his collection of adorable family photos he shares on social media. Fans are regularly treated to snaps of his two young daughters, who by now are practically as famous as their daddy for all their cute adventures.
That said, Rhett's fans are sure to enjoy wishing his younger daughter, Ada James a very happy birthday, as the little girl turned a whole one year old Sunday (Aug. 12).
Rhett shared a photo of the birthday girl, looking fetching in pineapple-print pajamas and a newsboy cap, adding the caption: "Happy 1st birthday sweet baby girl! I love you so much it hurts."
Rhett and his wife, Lauren, had a bit of a whirlwind start to their family: They adopted their first daughter, Willa Gray, from Uganda in May of 2017. By the time they brought Willa home, they found out that Lauren was pregnant with Ada...and the brand-new parents found themselves learning how to manage a toddler and an infant all at once.
That said, the couple is open to having more children—a big family! "Lauren wants to have five kids before she turns 34. That is her plan," Rhett tells Access Online of his wife, who is now 28. "So you can probably expect three new babies in the next five years. She's the boss."
Rhett added that they are 100% open to adopting again, but there are no set plans yet.
If the kids weren't keeping him busy enough, Rhett has just released "Goodbye Summer," a new duet with Danielle Bradbery; and he's currently on the road with Kenny Chesney. He'll l hop on his own solo Life Changes Tour starting Sept. 13.
