Thomas Rhett Helps Young Fan Who Beat Cancer Check Off Her Entire Wish List [Watch]
Thomas Rhett made more than one dream come true for a determined young girl who bravely beat cancer.
Rhett performed at the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center in Darien Lake, N.Y., on Friday night (July 19) as part of his ongoing Very Hot Summer Tour, and during the show, he spotted a sign in the audience near the front of the stage. A young girl was sitting on what appears to be her dad's shoulders, and her sign read, "Look What God Gave Her."
Underneath that were three boxes reading, "Beat Cancer," "Thomas Rhett Concert" and "Selfie With Thomas." The first two boxes were checked, while the third was still blank, and when Rhett realized what that meant, he instantly decided to oblige the request right there onstage in front of everyone.
"Oh my gosh," he says in the video above as he reads the sign, then beckons to her, saying, "Get up here."

The crowd roars as he embraces the girl at the center of the stage, then says, "We're gonna check all of these off. Where's that phone?"
He then clicks a selfie with the tearful girl while she's holding her sign, with the entire audience captured behind them. In another post, he reveals her name is Madison, writing, "May God continue to bless you and your sweet family ... hope you had a great time at the show."
The girl in the video is 11-year-old Madison Muckle of Albion, N.Y., and according to the Orleans Hub, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in December of 2010, when she was just three years old. She underwent a grueling two-and-a-half years of treatment that included chemotherapy and nine blood transfusions, and she's been symptom-free since finishing her treatments six years ago. Rhett's concert isn't the first time Madison — who a former basketball coach calls a "sparkplug" — has been in the public eye. She's a star player on a traveling basketball team, and she's also a cheerleader and softball player. When she's not busy with sports, Muckle takes dance classes, all while maintaining grades in the 90s.
Muckle's mother, Jaime Allport, turned to Facebook after the concert to thanks everyone who helped her daughter realize her dream, sharing pictures and calling it one of Madison's "best nights ever."
She shared the actual selfie Rhett took in another post, writing, "She really is happy, those are happy tears!"
