Though Thomas Rhett is busy on the road with his 2017 Home Team Tour, the 27-year-old singer has managed to find time to think about new songs — and they're all about his kids.

Rhett is balancing his home life with wife Lauren and newly adopted 18-month-old daughter Willa Gray with life on the road right now. As he jots down title ideas for potential songs, Rhett says that the ones he's come up with recently are all about Willa.

"The last 20 or so song titles I’ve put in my phone have been about my daughter. I feel like the whole next record is going to be a pretty mushy one about my kids," Rhett admits to the Advocate

"The record that is going to come out later this year was written before I had kids. There are a couple songs that allude to how life is going to change drastically in the next year," he says. "But on the fourth record, for sure, there’s going to be a lot about my children. How can you not write about people that you’re with every day and that make you laugh and make you want to just go outside and take a deep breath for a minute?"

Rhett continues on the Home Team Tour through the fall with Kelsea Ballerini, Ryan Hurd and Russell Dickerson. He and wife Lauren are also expecting their first biological child, a daughter who is due in August of 2017.
