Thomas Rhett is set to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live March 2, and just in case you didn't catch that announcement during last night's (Feb. 16) telecast of the series, the singer enlisted his daughter Willa Gray to spread the news.

"What's Daddy doing on March 2?" Rhett asks her, to which Willa gamely replies, "Saturday liiiiive!"

Rhett then urged fans to tune in, teasing that he'll be "playing some brand-new songs off the brand-record...it's gonna be fun!"

Rhett will be joining host John Mulaney for the episode. To date this season, SNL has had an eclectic and diverse lineup of musical guests, starting off with season opener Greta Van Fleet, followed by Meek Mill, Halsey, and last night's Gary Clark Jr.

The singer is not showing any signs of slowing down in 2019, after having had a busy 2018. He and his family recently visited iconic children's show Sesame Street where he sang the new song  "This Is My Street." He also recently scored his 12th No. 1 hit with "Sixteen," the fifth single off his highly successful album Life Changes

He's set to embark on the Very Hot Summer Tour with his father, multi-chart-topping songwriter Rhett Akins, and fellow hitmakers Dustin Lynch and Russell Dickerson joining as opening acts.
