The Showdown: Trent Harmon vs. Steven Tyler
Trent Harmon has made easy work of the most recent Showdown round. He took nearly 80 percent of the vote, and will now go on to face a challenge from the legendary Steven Tyler today and over the weekend.
Harmon's new song is "There's a Girl," and it's a big turn away from his scorching debut single, "Falling," into a sweet country ballad. His fans love it, voting overwhelmingly to support the American Idol champion.
Tyler is getting ready to finally release his much-anticipated country solo album, and he's just dropped its title song, "We're All Somebody From Somewhere," as its third single. The song celebrates the differences that make us all unique, as well as the spirit that pulls us all together, and allows Tyler to show off some of his signature vocal stylings in a new setting. Can he get past Harmon's enormous voting block?
