Zach Top, a rising star in country music, has tried to keep some of his more personal details private. But in a recent interview, his middle name slipped, and fans can't get over it.

It's Dirk.

Top reveals that he's named after his dad, who is Dutch. He also jokes that no one can pronounce it correctly — including him!

Fans were going wild over the news of Top's middle name and Dutch heritage, with one even saying, "Omg Dutch king."

Top's career is much more transparent than his middle name. Born in Sunnyside, Wash., in 1997, he was raised on a farm and developed an early love for music — particularly the traditional sounds of country legends like George Strait and Keith Whitley.

He began playing guitar at the age of five and later formed a bluegrass band called Top String with his siblings.

In 2021, Top moved to Nashville to pursue his solo career, and his acoustic covers and original songs gained traction on platforms like TikTok. This led to a record deal and performances on significant stages, including a debut at the Grand Ole Opry in 2022.

Top's music reflects his deep connection to classic country, with hits like "Cold Beer & Country Music" and "Sounds Like the Radio" blending old-school influences with a modern twist.

His debut album, released in 2024, has been well-received by fans of traditional country music. With millions of streams and after opening for stars like Dwight Yoakam and Luke Bryan, Top is establishing himself as one of the brightest new voices in the country music industry.
