Stars Sharpen Up for 50th Anniversary CMA Awards [Red Carpet Pictures]

The CMA Awards are always Country Music's Biggest Night, but this year it's extra special. Country music's biggest stars put on their black tie threads for the 2016 CMA Awards — the 50th anniversary of the event — and took our breath away on the red carpet before the show even started.

The CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (Nov. 2) and before all of the fun, the stars posed for red carpet pictures. RaeLynn and Danielle Bradbery are especially stunning in their chosen long gowns. Even the men dressed up a little more to celebrate 50 years, wearing dark suits and tuxedos, as requested by the CMA. Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood stunned as one of the carpet's most beautiful couples.

Before going into the show, artists stopped to talk with media on the carpet, even Taste of Country's own Sam Alex!
