Adam Sanders Shares What He’s ‘Thankful For’ in New Song [Exclusive Premiere]
Adam Sanders' new song is exactly what country music fans need to hear right now. The singer-songwriter reminds us all how blessed we really are in "Thankful For."
"I got a little gas in the tank / I got a little cash in the bank / I got a little gravel drive / A little house on a fenced-in five / I got a little love from a girl / Who's the center of the corner of my little world / I've got a little prayer I pray when I thank the Lord / 'Cause man I got a lot to be thankful for," Sanders sings in the chorus.
The up-tempo country-pop song is the product of hard times in Sanders' own life.
"I was going through a breakup and things in my life were shifting," he says. "I didn’t realize how much I was going to need that song or how much it was really going to become me until last year. I’m growing in my faith and a lot of things are really just taking shape in my life. Now when I sing it, I believe every word of it and it truly describes me."
Country fans have heard Sanders' music, whether they realize it or not. He's written songs for Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Tyler Farr and more, including the No. 1 singles "Ain’t Worth the Whiskey" for Cole Swindell and "Hell of a Night" for Dustin Lynch. He's been busy on tour with Swindell, Eric Paslay and Cam and also shared the stage with Bryan, Lynch, Eric Church, Thomas Rhett, Randy Houser, Easton Corbin, Gary Allan and more, and he's sold more than 70,000 singles and garnered more than 32 million Spotify streams independently.
"Thankful For" is the lead single from a full-length project Sanders will release in 2018. For more information about Adam Sanders, please visit his website, or follow him on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
