Remember the Backstreet Boys’ Collaboration With Shania Twain?
There wasn’t an album or a single, or even an official music video. But for one night, the Backstreet Boys sang country, and it was actually really good!
Nick, Kevin, Brian, A.J. and Howie joined Shania Twain for a performance of her hit song ‘From This Moment’ at a show in Miami. The CBS special aired in 1999 and ended up on Twain’s ‘The Specials’ DVD package.
Oft-forgotten Howie Dorough begins singing lead with Twain before the others take a turn. The country singer sparkles in a flowing silver gown, while the six men (boys?) are clad in the best '90s fashion — that means pleated black pants and long black jackets.
BSB also performed 'All I Have to Give' with the singer during the Miami special. 'From This Moment' was written with Twain's parents in mind.
