Country Artists We’ve Lost in 2012: B.B. Cunningham

Perhaps the most tragic death of 2012 was the shooting of Jerry Lee Lewis bassist B.B. Cunningham. The 70-year-old was killed in October when -- as a Memphis apartment complex security guard -- he went to investigate gunshots he'd heard. Cunningham and a 16-year-old boy were found shot dead. In addition to playing with Lewis, Cunningham worked with Elton John and Lou Rawls during his lengthy career.
