Rumors are swirling about the possibility of Thomas Rhett appearing on Brett Eldredge’s new album, Illinois. Why? It all comes down to Instagram.

Eldredge and Rhett both posted photos from the studio just minutes apart on June 17 with curiously similar backgrounds. Adding to the mystery is Rhett's caption, which reads “Guesting on a friends [sic] album today. Can’t wait for y’all to hear it!"

It raises the question — is it Eldredge’s album Rhett is appearing on? Fans are putting two and two together, and some are speculating so. Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation from either artist, so fans will just have to wait and see what is revealed by Eldredge as the record comes together.

Eldredge recently released the first single from Illinois, called "Lose My Mind," which is currently working its way up the country charts. Both Rhett and Eldredge spent the week at CMA Fest in early June performing and making appearances around Nashville. They pair have already announced that they will co-headline CMT on Tour in the fall.
