Cassadee Pope's latest single "I Am Invincible" is a power ballad that hits the heart, and the emotion of the song is adequately captured when witnessing Pope perform the track live.

Dressed in a blue jumpsuit and heels, Pope performed the song Tuesday (Oct. 13) on NBC's Today alongside her band in New York. The former winner of The Voice, Pope's soaring vocals are at the forefront of "I Am Invincible" and the gritty guitar accompaniment only adds to the power of the song, which was written by Brett Boyett and Nash Overstreet. When she puts her arms in the air singing, "I'm invincible, I'm unbreakable" it's hard not to believe her.

"I was thinking of all the things I have gone through over the last few years that could have very well influenced me to step away from making music," she says about first hearing the song. "At the same time, I was reminded of how proud I should be of myself for sticking to my true passion."

Pope adds that it is her fans who have helped her with their encouragement and support, and most importantly, they continued to cheer her on at a time of uncertainty.

"Thinking about all of those emotions really takes this song to another level when I'm performing it, and I hope 'I Am Invincible' gives others their confidence too," the singer says.

After watching her performance on Today, it is evident that Cassadee Pope is indeed invincible.
