The Dixie Chicks Cameo on ‘The Simpsons’

The Dixie Chicks made their The Simpsons cameo in 2008's 'Papa Don't Leech,' an episode that featured early series country singer Lurleen Lumpkin. It seems the Chicks and Lumpkin had something of a Rayna James/Juliette Barnes relationship, but they eventually gang up on Lumpkin's father, who stole his daughter's song and gave it to Natalie Maines and company. In the end, Lumpkin goes on tour to open for the Dixie Chicks.
