Dolly Parton Kicks Off Her Better Day World Tour

Dolly Parton launched her Better Day World Tour with a performance at the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tenn. just a few nights ago. The iconic songstress maintained her usual character, and as you can tell from these pictures, offered fans some theatrical faces in addition to classic tunes like 'Jolene' and new hits like 'Together You and I' from her new album, 'Better Day.'

The singer and her tour will continue rolling tonight with a show in Dallas, Texas, before making their way out to California. As it's a world tour, Miss Parton will pack her bags for a trip over the pond -- to Glasgow, U.K. -- for a show on August 3 before returning to a few southern states in October. The 'Better Day' tour wraps up in Australia two days after Thanksgiving.
