It's true! Eric Church will headline one of three nights at WE Fest 2016. The "Springsteen" singer is one of the most-coveted festival acts of the summer, and he's bringing his full show to Detroit Lakes, Minn., next August.

WE Fest 2016 will take place Aug. 4-6 at Soo Pass Ranch. Church is the first artist announced for the 34th annual festival, which is the biggest camping and country music festival in the world. More artists will be added in the weeks to come, but tickets for the three-day fest are on sale now here.

Church has released four albums, the last two of which (Chief and The Outsiders) have gone platinum for one million in sales. In addition, he has four No. 1 hits, six Grammy nominations and is regularly among the most-nominated artists come awards season. Plus, his live show is unmatched. Few can bring the energy to the stage Church is capable of every night. The “Like a Wrecking Ball” singer is in a league of his own.

If the lineup around Church is similar to the strong lineup in 2015, 2016 may prove to be legendary. This year, Rascal Flatts, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were headliners, with frontmen like Dierks Bentley and Hank Williams Jr. taking opening slots. You’ll struggle to find a better festival — any genre — in the world.
