Eric Church and Wife Katherine Welcome First Child

The baby boom in Nashville continues on! Eric Church and his wife, Katherine, are the latest couple to announce the birth of an addition to their family. On Monday (October 3), the Church family welcomed their brand-new baby boy, Boone McCoy Church, into the world. Little Boone was born at Nashville's Centennial Women's Hospital at 8:35AM CT, weighing in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces.

"Everybody always tells you what an awesome and unique experience being a parent is," Church says along with the announcement. "Words can never do the feeling justice. I am very thankful and blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy and baby mama."

Earlier this year, Church told Taste of Country that he was most nervous about the car ride home from the hospital, knowing the new little baby boy would be in tow. But overall, he was cool and calm about venturing into fatherhood.

"We’re really excited just about seeing how our life changes," he said. "It’s already changed. I just can’t wait to see the next chapter."

The arrival of Boone came in the midst of Church's tour with Toby Keith, which is set to wrap on October 15. The Church family will be releasing photos of the new addition to their family in the coming weeks. For the latest news and information on Church, visit his website by here.
