Garth Brooks Announces His Fourth Dive Bar Tour Stop
Garth Brooks' Dive Bar Tour of clubs and honky-tonks will stop in Florida next. The singer has revealed that he’ll play the Barn in Sanford, Fla., later this month.
The Oct. 16 show is Brooks' fourth Dive Bar concert, named after his duet with Blake Shelton, “Dive Bar.” The first three Dive Bar shows were at Joe's on Weed Street in Chicago in July, Buck Owen’s Crystal Palace in August and Gruene Hall in Texas last month. It’s not clear how many more stops he has planned, or if the run will go into next year.
The song "Dive Bar" currently sits inside the Top 20 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
The only way to get tickets to Brooks' Sanford, Fla., show is to win through local radio. Ticketholders must be 21 years old or older, as Brooks has partnered with Seagram’s 7 for the tour. The 57-year-old announced the state his fourth stop would be in during a Facebook Live broadcast on Monday, but let radio stations in Florida share the date and venue on Tuesday (Oct. 1).
Brooks has just one other date on his 2019 tour schedule, a Nov. 16 stop in Knoxville, Tenn, where he'll bring the 2019 leg of his stadium tour to a close. He's set to play Neyland Stadium, home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers football program.
Additionally Brooks is up for Entertainer of the Year at the 2019 CMA Awards in Nashville on Nov. 13.
