The 'King of Country' George Strait narrowly edged out Brad Paisley for the title of 2010's top earning country tour. With able assistance from support acts Reba McEntire and Lee Ann Womack, Strait earned $41.6 million dollars last year, just ahead of Paisley's $40.7 million take from his H2O world tour.

Strait, who has over 50 No. 1 singles to his credit, originally planned to tour only during the spring in support of his new album 'Twang,' but apparently he and Reba had so much fun touring together they decided to add a fall leg to the run.

Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum tied for third place by each earning $39.1 million for their touring efforts last year.
