Jake Owen Reminisces in Sun-Kissed ‘The One That Got Away’ Video

This summer might just be Jake Owen's hottest yet. Not only is he palling around the country with Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw on the Brothers of the Sun Tour, but with another No. 1 single on his hand, it looks like Owen is turning his attention to his most recent release, 'The One That Got Away' and a new video to match.

The sun-kissed clip takes place among the palm trees and sea breeze of an oceanfront town. The innocent video shows a teenage boy falling for a girl who is staying at a summer home for three months. The cute couple spends the summer surfing, swimming, watching fireworks and riding bikes before they finally have to say goodbye.

Years later, the boy has grown into man (played by Jake Owen, who is seen driving around the seaside town in a Jeep), who still remembers his summer love with a twangy note of affection. She was 'The One That Got Away.'

The song and its accompanying video are coming on the heels of Owen releasing back-to-back No. 1 singles, the most recent being 'Alone With You.' Currently, 'The One that Got Away' is sitting at No. 41 on the country songs chart, but it's climbing as fast as the temperatures in Tennessee.
