Jake Owen vs. Greg Bates – The Showdown

Jake Owen's new song 'Anywhere With You' is up for its fifth straight Showdown win today and tonight on Taste of Country Nights radio. After toppling 'Borrowed' by LeAnn Rimes on Tuesday, his fans will need to double their efforts to beat Greg Bates and gain entrance to the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame. 

Bates' song 'Fill in the Blank' is a fun follow-up to his Top 20 hit 'Did It for the Girl.' It's about as easy to enjoy as anything on the radio, but it will need to inspire real passion from fans to earn another day in the Showdown.

If a song wins five days in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
