John Rich Turning Nashville, Vegas Into Redneck Rivieras
John Rich is giving Nashville and Las Vegas some man-made coastlines with his new Redneck Riviera bars, a derivative of his lifestyle brand by the same name. Music City’s Lower Broadway and Sin City’s Grand Bazaar Shops will be home to the watering holes, a venture he says he’s wanted to pursue for a long time.
“I’ve always dreamed of building the kind of place where my friends and family could get together and turn it up after a hard day’s work. Redneck Riviera is that place. We are going to build as many of them as it takes to offer a place for every hard-working American to cut loose and celebrate a job well done,” he says in a news release.
Rich is honoring some of America’s hardest-working people by including a unique Heroes Bar, dedicated exclusively for military veterans and service members.
"If you are active duty or a veteran, your first drink is on the house. Our motto is ‘have one on us’ to celebrate their dedication to this great nation,” Rich adds.
The bars are slated to open in late 2016.
The artist — one half of the boisterous duo Big & Rich — created his Redneck Riviera brand in 2014, dubbing it America’s “work hard, play hard” brand celebrating the everyman. It includes footwear, apparel, hospitality and licensed products, which will be featured at the Redneck Riviera bars as well.
Big & Rich are working on a new studio album, and recently played both the Taste of Country Music Festival and Country Jam as part of their summer tour.
