Josh Thompson fans eager to hear new music from the 'Beer on the Table' singer won't have to wait much longer. Thompson tells WGNA that fans will be able to get their ears on a new song before Christmas. 'Comin' Around' will be released on iTunes on Dec. 13.

During a pre-CMAs interview with the radio station, Thompson explained how the song is perfect fit for the holidays. "It goes really good next to 'Jingle Bells,' but right before 'Merry Christmas From the Family,'" he joked. In August ,Thompson told Taste of Country that 'Comin' Around' was one of three songs he'd recently added to his live show.

"We’ve been playing them for quite some time," he said. "They just really work well in the show." A fan video below shows Thompson singing a song called 'Comin' Around.'

"I've never been that big a fan of getting up on Sunday morning / And listening to that ol' preacher talk was always kind of boring / And I'm still more lost than I am found / But I'm comin' around," he sings.

The 'Way Out Here' singer tells WGNA that he's finishing up his second studio album and hopes to have it in stores early next year. Thompson is currently on the CMT Tour with Lee Brice and Luke Bryan. They'll be in Green Bay, Wisc. on Thursday and Muncie, Ind. on Friday.
