Most country singers stick around Nashville, Tenn. while they pursue their dreams, but Justin Moore has decided to relocate from Music City to his tiny (as in population of 290) hometown of Poyen, Ark. and admits that people think he's a little crazy for doing so.

"People think I am nuts," Moore tells People. "But I want my girls to run through the cow pasture to my mom and dad's house. I want them to go to school where I went to school. It's important to me to see them growing up and having a normal childhood."

Moore has always been vocal about his love for Poyen; his first No. 1 hit, 'Small Town USA,' was inspired by his hometown and even had a cameo in his music video. Poyen truly is home sweet home for Moore.

The singer and his wife have two daughters, Ella, 4, and Kennedy, 2, with baby No. 3 on the way. Things will be busy in the Moore household with the arrival of the new bambino, and the ACM New Artist of the Year is cutting down on touring to focus on his family.

He elaborates, "This means that I will be home for over 200 days this year. My 4-year-old just started playing softball. I will be taking her to dance class. These are the things that are tops on my priority list."

Moore is exchanging late nights on the tour bus for late night feedings, and the singer sounds more than okay with that change. For now, he's waiting for the arrival of the newest tiny Moore, the sex of which he doesn't know. "I would want to know, but my wife wanted to wait and she wins most battles," he laughs, adding, "I've got all girls as of right now. I am sure I will have another one."

When the new baby arrives, Poyen will have a new population ... of 291!
