Country star (and former 'American Idol' contestant) Kellie Pickler is setting her sights on making a long time dream come true: having Clint Eastwood direct one of her videos and also double as her love interest in it.

"I would love for Clint Eastwood to direct one of my videos and be in it -- my love interest!" she gushes to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Eastwood and Pickler met on the set of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' last October, where she ended up sitting on his lap, much to the 80-year-old actor's surprise. The country star says, "I figured, I'm just gonna take advantage of this while I can, and do what every woman wishes she could do right now. This opportunity might not ever come along again!"

Pickler is currently working on her third album, produced by Lee Ann Womack's husband, Frank Liddell. The country star says, "Everything's been such a whirlwind and rush-rush-rush and go-go-go, since 'American Idol.' I haven't had time to stop and stand still and catch my breath."

When Pickler first came to Nashvile, she didn't have a manager, lawyer, mom or dad to help guide her. She says, “I had to learn to do it all on my own, and do it pretty quick.” Her first two albums sold more than 800,000 copies. The 'Red High Heels' singer adds, "I can't wait to get new music out. I am absolutely having a great time. My life is so much fun!”
