In her version of 'Silent Night,' Laura Bell Bundy says she was looking to capture that almost haunting feeling of walking outside during an evening snowfall to see the whole world at rest as flakes drop from the sky above. In this premiere of the behind-the-scenes video, the singer shares how she captured that vision.

"More often you'll get in there," Bundy says, "and the musicians will start to do something based on what you're saying, and then it finds its own unique thing."

As the self-proclaimed leader of the country dance movement, the Kentucky-born singer adds a signature dance stamp to the traditional Christmas song.

Fans will see Bundy and her team of studio musicians working on the song between clips of her interview. The songbird looks cozy, with a big mug of something warm between her hands as she records her vocals. Watch the above clip, and then download the song for free at her website.

Bundy also released a new single last month. 'Kentucky Dirty' is available for download at iTunes.
