Christmas comes early for Lee Ann Womack fans as she releases a special version of one of her favorite holiday tunes, "Oh Come All Ye Faithful."
Recorded over the Thanksgiving holiday in just one day, the rendition features a simple acoustic guitar accompanying the pure and sweet vocals Womack is known for.
"In celebration of the season of giving, I'm sending my dedicated fans a special gift this year: my rendition of one of my favorite Christmas songs, 'Oh Come All Ye Faithful.' I hope that you enjoy this one as much as I do," Womack says about the Christmas classic. "Wishing you a holiday season filled with much joy and happiness!"
Unforgettable Country Christmas Traditions
In an interview with Southern Living, Womack reveals some of her favorite things about the holidays, including the classic film How the Grinch Stole Christmas, making sugar cookies with her vast supply of cooking cutters and buying her Christmas tree from the same lot every year in Nashville, as the proceeds are donated to charities in the area.
Womack will join country superstar Alan Jackson on his upcoming 2017 Honky Tonk Highway Tour that launches on Jan. 20 in Tulsa, Okla., and continues through October. She is currently scheduled for two stops on the tour in Pensacola, Fla., and Duluth, Ga.
Earlier in 2016, the "I Hope You Dance" singer helped pay tribute to country legend Kris Kristofferson at a concert in Nashville featuring the likes of Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church and many more.
