Maren Morris had an unforgettable sold-out concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday (March 13), thanks in part to her new friend and recent collaborator, Brandi Carlile.

Carlile was one of several iconic females to grace the stage — including Miranda Lambert — and the pair sang ""Common" from Morris' Girl album. It's only the second time they've performed it together live; the first being at Carlile's festival Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Weekend in February, where they debuted the duet to overwhelmingly positive feedback from fans in attendance.

"Common" isn't the only collab tying Morris and Carlile together — the two are two-thirds of a new project titled Highwomen. Most of the project has been somewhat secretive, with members and collaborators posting cryptic social media posts. Even though Highwomen has several collaborators, the three core members are Amanda Shires, Morris and Carlile.

Later in the evening, Morris brought out two more special guests, Lambert and songwriter Natalie Hemby, to perform Lambert's deep cut "Virginia Bluebell" and Morris' "I Wish I Was," both of which Hemby co-wrote with the respective artists.

The show wrapped with a grand finale and reappearance of Carlile, Lambert, Hemby and Cassadee Pope to sing Morris' debut country single, "My Church."

Morris is currently on her Girl: The World Tour supporting her Girl albumShe will be traveling across the United States this spring along with support from RaeLynn and Pope on select dates.
