Marty Stuart Announces 2017 Way Out West Tour
Marty Stuart's 2017 is picking up as the singer is gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, Way Out West, due out March 10.
In anticipation of his forthcoming album, the singer has announced 2017 tour dates. Stuart's Way Out West Tour will kick off on March 17 in Indiana and sees him visiting cities throughout the United States, including Nashville, Cleveland, New York and Denver, among others. The tour is set to wrap on June 23 in Georgia.
Stuart recently released the music video for “Way Out West,” which is the title track off Stuart's new album. Mike Campbell of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers produced the project, which saw Stuart working at the historic Capitol Studios in Hollywood. The country legend tells Billboard he’d longed to work in that room for many years.
“It’s the finest cathedral of sound that I have ever been a part of. You can almost see those songs in the air there,” he says. “It is truly a magical place.”
