Miley Cyrus made her set at 2019 Glastonbury Festival even more riveting with a surprise appearance by her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, and his all-star collaborator, Lil Nas X. Together the threesome delivered a lively performance of "Old Town Road."

As the superstar was wrapping up a rap-tinged performance of her massive hit "Party in the USA," she continued to light up the crowd of thousands packed onto Worthy Farm as her father walked onstage, the famous opening banjo chords to "Old Town Road" drawing cheers. The father-daughter duo matched one another's smoky vocals on the introductory chorus before they let Lil Nas X — who was donning one of Miley's T-shirts — have the spotlight.

Lil Nas X and Country's Hip-Hop Love Affair

As the crowd bounced along to the viral hit, Miley became the rapper's hype woman, fully immersed in the performance as she danced alongside him, sharing a microphone with her dad while they helped sing the second verse. The "Wrecking Ball" singer then exited the stage entirely, allowing her father and Lil Nas X to conclude the number with a full-audience singalong.

"Old Town Road" continues its reign at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart, having spent 12 weeks at No. 1. Lil Nas and Billy Ray's appearance at Glastonbury Festival follows a well-received performance at the 2019 BET Awards, one that Billy Ray called "electrifying."

"It was just such an honor being here. And being a part of this festival and these festivities and this celebration of music. It'll be a moment that I'll always cherish and remember," he said. "It was very special."
