Montgomery Gentry take us backstage of an awesome live performance in a fun-filled teaser for their new single, 'Headlights.' The clip is premiering exclusively on Taste of Country.

The country duo kick off the fun in Sturgis, South Dakota, where they're seen playing to a packed crowd -- one heck of a party.

"I'll tell you, when we first heard it, it was so totally different," Eddie Montgomery shares of 'Headlights.' He compares the way they feel about the new single to the way they felt about their song 'Hillbilly Shoes' when they first heard it.

During the live performance, Montgomery shines, his deep vocals pouring over an excited crowd, while Gentry plays guitar alongside his partner. Fans, meanwhile, lift their beer cups up as a cheers to the song.

"We gotta thank the writers -- Bob DiPiero, Wendell Mobley and Tony Martin. Three of the finest in Nashville," Gentry says. "Get those three together on a song for us man, it's total pleasure. This song totally rocks."

Together, Montgomery Gentry have 14 Top 10 songs -- half of which went to No. 1. The duo reached the top of the charts with 'Something to Be Proud Of,' 'If You Ever Stop Loving Me,' 'Back When I Knew It All,' 'Lucky Man' and 'Roll With Me.'

'Headlights' -- out Sept. 2 -- is the duo's first new music in two years. It will be featured on an upcoming new album.
