Morgan Wallen Debuts on ‘Kimmel,’ Brings His Florida Georgia Line Buddies [Watch]
Morgan Wallen hit the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage Thursday night (April 26) for his late-night television debut, and he brought his friends Florida Georgia Line.
They sang Wallen's "Up Down," and they had a darn good time — for good reason. The addictive song has amassed more than 80.5 million plays to date and continues to make its way up the charts (currently Top 15).
If that wasn’t enough to celebrate, Wallen is also enjoying the Friday (April 27) release of his debut album If I Know Me, an impressive piece of work that he co-wrote six out of fourteen tracks for. While at Kimmel, Wallen stuck around to perform another song from that much anticipated album, titled "Whiskey Glasses."

Next up for the newcomer is a performance at the Stagecoach Festival in California, where he will join some of country music's biggest stars including his FGL buddies, Keith Urban, Garth Brooks and Kelsea Ballerini. Then he will continue on his headlining Up Down Tour before joining Luke Bryan on his What Makes You Country Tour on May 31 in Toronto.
Not bad for a kid who just got to Nashville not too long ago.
“I moved to town three years ago and have gotten to write with some of the best songwriters and artists in Nashville," Wallen says in a recent interview. "I’m ready for people to hear this album and get to know what I’m all about. There are songs that have made the journey with me and I’m just really proud to be putting If I Know Me out there."
