‘Nashville’ Adds Actress Katrina Norman to Season 5
Nashville continues to add new cast members and grow a new audience on a new network. Actress Katrina Norman has been cast in a recurring role on the CMT drama, playing Polly, "a stunning, authentic and confident road manager for a popular musician," according to Deadline.
Norman has had roles on a variety of television shows, including The Vampire Diaries, Criminal Minds, Castle and Victorious, along with appearances in films like No Strings Attached, Burlesque and 17 Again.
Nashville Stars Who Could Become Country Stars
She's the latest of new additions to Nashville Season 5. In March, Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday were added to the show as Alyssa Greene and Jessie Caine, respectively. Bilson has been on the Hollywood scene since landing a starring role in the hit teen drama, The O.C., that also featured fellow Nashville cast member Chris Carmack, and played a lead role in the recently cancelled CW series, Hart of Dixie. Doubleday starred as Rhonda Lyon on the Fox series, Empire, and has appeared in other film and TV projects including CSI: Miami, Bones and the Leonardo DiCaprio drama Catch Me if You Can.
Big Little Lies actor Jeff Nording also becomes a citizen of Nashville as Brad Maitland, “a successful, charming, egotistical and narcissistic owner of the most successful record label in town" (quote via CMT). He starred alongside Keith Urban's wife Nicole Kidman in the HBO series.
The summer premiere of Nashville Season 5 debuted on Thursday (June 1). New episodes will air every Thursday night at 9PM ET on CMT.
