Oak Ridge Boys Plot 29th Annual Christmas Tour
It's been a holiday tradition for nearly three decades, and the Oak Ridge Boys are committed to keeping it going. The Country Music Hall of Famers will return for their 29th-annual Christmas tour next month, ringing in the holidays on the 2018 Shine the Light on Christmas Tour.
The holiday run — which will hit 32 cities in 18 states — is set to launch on Nov. 14 in Branson, Missouri.
The Best of Country Christmas Songs, Right Here
Fans can expect the Oak Ridge Boys to perform countless holiday classics in addition to timeless hits like “Elvira,” “Bobbie Sue,” “Thank God for Kids,” “Y’All Come Back Saloon,” and “American Made."
"We will sing hit songs for 40 minutes and after a short intermission our full production Christmas show takes over the stage with music celebrating every aspect of the holiday season, from Santa Claus to celebrating the birth of Jesus," the Oaks Ridge Boys' Joe Bonsall says in a statement. "Our production is all new and fresh this year and we are more excited than ever to be bringing this very special family event to your town!"
