Kris Kristofferson is being celebrated by a plethora of artists next week at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Six performers have been added to the all-star lineup of The Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson, which will be held on Wednesday, March 16.

Reba McEntire, Alison Krauss, Buddy Miller, Larry Gatlin, Jessi Colter and Shooter Jennings have been announced as additions to the already impressive lineup. The all-star concert event was announced in January, and pays tribute to the legendary singer-songwriter and actor.

Previously announced performers include Lady Antebellum, Dierks Bentley, Ryan Bingham, Rosanne Cash, Eric Church, Emmylou Harris, Jamey Johnson, Willie Nelson, Darius Rucker, Trisha Yearwood, Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr., Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Lee Ann Womack, Jack Ingram and Kristofferson himself. Kristofferson will perform with various artists throughout the evening. Don Was will act as musical director of the live concert, and will also lead a backing band for each of the performers.

“A major reason for Kris’ enduring popularity is that he’s always been very honest and open about revealing his inner life,” Was says in a press release. “In doing that he has created an incredible body of work that has resonated for decades with millions of listeners. It’s always a deeply moving experience to sing and play his songs.”

There are still tickets available for the show at Ticketmaster and the Bridgestone Arena box office. Proceeds from the show will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, which is the music industry’s largest foundation and funds research on finding cures for leukemia, cancer and AIDS.
