Rodney Atkins is keeping things simple with his latest single.

The country star released 'Eat Sleep Love You Repeat' to country radio on Tuesday (Oct. 28), and he is giving Taste of Country readers an exclusive first look at the lyric video for the new track.

Atkins -- whose hits include 'Take a Back Road,' 'These Are My People' and 'Watching You,' among others -- advocates for the simple pleasures of life in the new song, which was written by Walker Hayes and Ryan Bizarri. "If it's alright with you, all I wanna do / Is eat, sleep, love you, repeat," he sings. The track has a breezy, good-time feel that is perfect for contemporary country radio.

Hayes, producer Ted Hewitt and Atkins’ band members Judd Fuller and Liam Bailey also lend their backing vocals to the track, which is the lead single from a forthcoming new album Atkins is working on for Curb Records.

“It was a whole lot of fun,” he tells Taste of Country about the new project. “I love singing more now than I think I ever have. I felt like I’ve enjoyed it more -- the process of making a record -- and I love the intricate details of it. It’s just some great songs. It’s kind of pushing the envelope with some melodies for me and stuff and I’ve had a whole lot of fun. I got to write more for this album also.”

Atkins will perform 'Eat Sleep Love You Repeat' live at the Shining Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minn. on Nov. 7, followed by a songwriter’s night at the Listening Room Cafe in Nashville on Nov. 8 in support of the Tennessee Voices for Children organization. The singer -- who recently returned from his third USO tour overseas -- will also perform at a private event in Nashville for Veterans Airlift Command on Nov. 14.

'Eat Sleep Love You Repeat' is available to download at iTunes.
