Rodney Atkins and fellow singer Rose Falcon got engaged in June, and new reports indicate that the duo will wed soon.

While Atkins did not offer a concrete date for the pair's impending nuptials, he did confirm that the wedding will take place within a month, likely in November.

When asked if wedding plans were happening, the singer replied, "Yes, for next month."

The 'Take a Back Road' hitmaker remained mum when it comes to the juiciest wedding details, but he was quite open about his new fiancée, thanking a higher power for putting her in his life.

"If I was planning that, there’s no way that that would have happened," Atkins shares, musing about his life. "I really have gone into trying to figure out not my motives, not what my plans are, but what am I doing here? Like when things go crazy and you go through struggles in your life, and you kind of leave that door open for God, like ‘God, what do you got in store for me?’”

"What she’s brought into my life is unbelievable," the singer continues. "It’s just complete peace of mind of what love’s supposed to be."

Atkins was married previously. His divorce from Tammy, to whom he was married for 13 years, was somewhat messy and public, including the singer's arrest following a domestic assault accusation. They have one son together, Elijah.

In addition to tying the knot, Atkins will release his new album in early 2014.
