Ronnie Dunn — one-half of iconic country music duo Brooks and Dunn — returns to SiriusXM in July to host his exclusive monthly radio show, Road Trip.

The firs tall-new episode will air July 4 at 2PM ET on Sirius XM's Prime Country (channel 58) and continue to air on the first Friday of every month at 6PM ET. Dunn's show will feature his favorite songs in a multitude of genres from country to rock to R&B including artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, Al Green, ZZ Top and Eagles. He'll also mix in some Brooks and Dunn classics ("Red Dirt Road," anyone?) as well as songs from his solo albums.

"I'm excited that SiriusXM is giving me the opportunity to develop a broadcast scenario on Prime Country that allows me to pick what I feel are the songs that I would choose to listen to on my ultimate Road Trip playlist," Dunn says in a press release. "I'm more than excited to be able to expand and expound upon a few chosen tunes that may or may not surprise some Prime Country listeners. ...  I'll try not to veer too far off the beaten path, but when I do, I hope those detours add something to our Prime Country journey."

SiriusXM’s Prime Country primarily plays country hits from the '80s and '90s, serving a healthy dose of icons like Dunn, such as George Strait, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks.

Road Trip isn't Dunn's first go around with SiriusXM: the 17-time CMA Award winner previously hosted a special series on SiriusXM’s Y2Kountry in November 2016.
