Ryan Hurd's "Diamonds or Twine" video tells the love story between the singer and his now-wife, Maren Morris.

Hurd wrote the song before he proposed and recorded "Diamonds or Twine" as an early wedding present for his bride. The music video for the song features never-before-seen footage of the couple in a glimpse at their past few years together. You'll see different hairstyles and various backstage moments, but one constant: they're always hand in hand.

"Doesn't matter if it's diamonds or twine / I'll be wrapped around your finger / Girl, you got me 'til we run out of time / Rich or poor, rain or shine," Hurd sings on the love song.

Some of the footage is from Hurd's family’s lake house in Michigan — where he proposed — backstage at Red Rocks Ampitheatre before Morris’ tour date with Sam Hunt, pre-show at Ascend Ampitheatre in Nashville for Hurd’s show with Thomas Rhett and outtakes of life on and off the road. The video closes with their real-life wedding day, showing the two in front of their families and friends, about to say "I Do."

Hurd wrote "Diamonds or Twine" with Laura Veltz and Mark Trussell, and he played it for Morris on the night he proposed in Michigan last summer. He gave her the studio version as a wedding present in March.
