Scotty McCreery and several friends were held up by gunmen at an apartment in Raleigh, N.C. Monday morning.

The singer, a student at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, was visiting with friends in a Raleigh apartment when three men broke in, holding up McCreery and four others, according to WRAL-TV. The North Carolina News Network reports that it was not McCreery's apartment.

Police say the break-in happened just before 2AM when the men forced their way inside the apartment. The 'Feelin' It' hitmaker and his friends were not hurt, but did lose their wallets and cell phones. Neighbors described the chaos to WTVD-TV.

"All you heard was yelling like 'Who are you? What are you doing here? ' for a good five minutes," one woman said. "It was just yelling."

McCreery has just finished his second year at NC State, splitting time between school and his music career. Last week was final exams week at the university. The incident came after a long day of travel for the 20-year-old. According to his website he'll resume touring on Friday in Bakersfield, Calif.
