Sugarland and Little Big Town Cover Madonna’s ‘Like a Prayer’

Sugarland and Little Big Town have teamed up once again to cover an out-of-the-box song, and this time, Madonna's 'Like a Prayer' gets the country music treatment.

'Like a Prayer' marks the fourth super-cover from this team of country greats. In the past, Sugarland and Little Big Town have tackled 'Life in a Northern Town' (The Dream Academy), 'Sigh No More' (Mumford and Sons), and 'Walking in Memphis' (Marc Cohn) -- but for this one, Jennifer Nettles says, "Put your dancing shoes on!"

In this fun video, Nettles and her music partner Kristian Bush intro the Madonna hit to a packed crowd. At about the minute-and-a-half mark, the crowd erupts in delight as Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet -- best known as four-piece Little Big Town -- take the stage to lend a hand.

Little Big Town are currently along for the ride of Sugarland's 2011 Incredible Machine Tour. Amidst a slew of tour dates, the Sugarland duo will appear on this Thursday's episode of 'American Idol.'
