Sunny Sweeney ‘Blown Away’ by Brad Paisley Tour Invite, Ready for Catering

In May, Brad Paisley will launch his H2O II Tour, this time bringing along special guests Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker, Jerrod Niemann, Sunny Sweeney, Edens Edge and Brett Anderson. When Sweeney received the call about joining Paisley on the road through the summer, she was taken aback some, certain there was some sort of mixup.

"I thought there had to be another Sunny Sweeney that they meant to be talking to!" Sweeney tells Taste of Country with laughter. "I was like, 'Do ... what?' I mean, seriously! I go, 'Huh?' I honestly could not believe it because that's a pretty big step. I haven't even gotten to my seven-year anniversary of my first show, and now I'm going to be on tour with Brad Paisley? It's crazy. I'm completely flattered and blown away."

Sweeney still has several weeks of radio touring to knock out before packing up her bags for the Paisley tour, but when that day comes, she will be ready!

"I think that it's going to be the most amazing time," Sweeney says, beaming. "All these people that I know who have toured with Brad before are like, 'You are going to freakin' love it. It's going to be the best time of your life. He's so sweet to everybody!' And ... I've heard the catering is amazing, too, so I'm excited about that because clearly I like food! I don't know if you can tell, but I definitely love it [laughs]! My butt can tell!"
